About
My love for photography started during my school days at the Hyderabad Public School, Begumpet and has grown to become an essential part of my life ever since. What started out as capturing the wedding of a friend 7 years ago has become my primary profession today. Having covered more than 175 weddings in cities all over the globe, I capture images at a wedding that will become a part of the family heirloom for generations to come, with the photographs bringing back cherished moments, many decades down the line.
In my own time, I travel to countries that inspire me and work extensively on my personal documentary photography work. I am always looking to capture the world from a new perspective and this enthusiasm takes me to new places everyday. I spend time working on Concorde Zine, a photography magazine that I have been running for a four years and is the only Indian publication to be nominated for the Stack Magazine Awards.
My work has been featured in the Economic Times and been exhibited nationally and internationally. My life has been filled with vibrant roles ranging from being the President of the Students’ Union at the University of Essex to being an Oil Trader in the Financial District of London. I was born in India, grew up in Indonesia, studied in India, did my undergrad degree in Economics & Politics in England and finally moved back to India to become a photographer.
When not capturing the world with my camera, I read The Economist, listen to old Tamil songs, and ponder life.
